Bidding for Eddie Jordan’s shirt tops £100K
Last week, the hat Hammond wore while filming our Christmas special in India went for £2,000. We were fairly staggered that TG.com member "Cat" paid that much, but hey, it's all for charity.
But today, the stakes have definitely been raised in the stuff-for-sale-that-belongs-to-someone-associated-with-cars-and-the-proceeds-are-going-to-charity.
Yes, you can own the very shirt that Eddie Jordan wore on BBC One at the first Indian Grand Prix in October. If you watched yesterday's coverage, you'll know that as well as genuine Jordanmusk, the shirt's covered in the signatures of several F1 drivers from last weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as well as that of Paul "George" McCartney.
The auction winner also gets a DVD of the Beeb's coverage of the Indian Grand Prix race, which shows the great man fashioning said shirt. Follow the auction right here - any TopGearcommers out there with very deep pockets?
