Lego Technic and Top Gear have joined forces to bring you this little box of joy: an app-controlled rally car!

The Lego Technic TG Rally Car will be available next month; a 463-piece model (that TG helped design) that includes a large motor, an XL motor, and a Bluetooth controlled smart hub.

Which means once you’ve built the Rally Car and downloaded the Lego Technic Control+ app onto your smartphone, you can pretend you’re on a rally stage thanks to full driving functionality, along with multi-touch and gyro controls.

The app also contains challenges and records your achievements, and even has inspirational videos for you to play.

“The car offers a challenging build for ages 9+ who are into authentic play and intrigued about how things work,” said Lego Technic’s Niels Henrik Horsted. Yeah, you might have to prize it off the adults first, kids.

It’s priced at £124.99, and will be available from 26 December 2019.
