Wow. CUPRA collaborates with ABT Sportsline to make the most powerful CUPRA Formentor available in the UK. Just listen to it…

CUPRA partner with ABT Sportsline for a scintillating 370PS SUV and the ultimate Formentor

Well, take a look at this… A new collab with ABT Sportsline invigorates the performance brand’s bestselling model, the CUPRA Formentor, with a host of truly dynamic changes. There could be no neater partnership than CUPRA and ABT Sportsline, the two having successfully paired up in Extreme E since 2021. Together they’ve scored a win and numerous podiums in motorsport’s toughest new discipline.

Small wonder this is one of the most potent cars in CUPRA’s modern history, then, with the proven 2.0-litre TSI engine of the Formentor VZ3 uprated to the tune of 60PS by the ABT team for new 370PS and 450Nm peaks. Hooked up to all four wheels via 4Drive, the  Formentor with ABT pack will sprint from 0-62mph in a startling 4.6 seconds.

The overhaul doesn’t stop there. ABT has lowered the suspension and upgraded the wheels to striking new 20in rims with a punchy Brembo braking system tucked promisingly behind. Completing the dynamic glow-up is a full Akrapovič sports exhaust system that not only enhances the bassy tones of the TSI engine, but adds a dazzling visual flourish courtesy of its quad tailpipes beneath the rear diffuser. These thrilling new upgrades are underpinned by a five-year ABT warranty.

You’ll not mistake what you’re driving once you’re tucked comfortably inside, either. The headlines go to a pair of Black Nappa leather CUP bucket seats which bring a suitably focused driving position. A heated leather Supersports steering wheel ahead of them boasts a new ABT start button and extended gearshift paddles, perfect for snapping swiftly and effortlessly through the seven-speed DSG transmission.

ABT Sportsline is a German tuning company with over 125 years of history and a packed trophy cabinet thanks to its motor racing prowess with both petrol and electric power. Circuit success underscores its burgeoning reputation on the road car scene, its badge now synonymous with smartly applied performance tuning measures and bold special editions with unmistakeable presence. Truly the perfect partner for the ultimate expression of CUPRA’s first bespoke model.

Anticipated to be limited to 160 cars, it’s a dynamic masterpiece for enthusiasts who appreciate the extraordinary.

Speak to your local CUPRA retailer to discuss availability and pricing. In the meantime, head to cupraofficial.co.uk for a closer look.
