Since pioneering the world’s first hybrid car over a century ago, way back in 1900, Porsche has been working on the future of performance.
And now, following the launch of the all-electric Taycan and the company’s first Formula E car which is charging up for the start of the new season, Porsche performance has well and truly entered the electric age. This plug-in technology – along with powerful combustion engines – is at the heart of Porsche E-Performance.
When it won the tortuous 24 Hours of Le Mans three times in a row, The Porsche 919 Hybrid showed exactly what can happen when two power-packed drivetrains join forces – how the fusion of electric motors and an efficient combustion engine gives you low emissions with lightning-quick reactions.
The Porsche plug-in hybrid range takes that idea and creates a thrilling road package, with all the innovations and luxury you’d expect from a Porsche. It’s a new era of driving entertainment, where high-tech fuses with tradition, and where excitement is best measured in kilowatts.
Ready to make the switch? Let’s discover the range...

One of the first plug-in hybrids in its segment, and one of the most powerful, the Cayenne E-Hybrid gives you pure Porsche performance with room for the family.
Slip quietly though the city on electric power alone – it has an all-electric range of up to 22 miles – then when the road opens up, use the full force of the hybrid technology to accelerate away.
The Cayenne E-Hybrid can go from 0-62mph in just 5.0 seconds. That time drops to just 3.8 seconds with the Turbo S version, thanks to a combined power output of 680PS, while CO2 emissions remain as low as 85g/km.
And like all Porsche plug-in hybrids, there’s all-wheel drive – for grip in any weather, and on all sorts of surfaces. Because sometimes your adventure continues when the road runs out.
Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé. Powerful by nature. Hybrid by design.
It might be an SUV, but that streamlined coupé silhouette is shaped by performance – Porsche designers call it the flyline, and it only takes one look at the iconic 911 to see where it comes from.
The windscreen and A-pillar slope a little more steeply than the Cayenne, and the roofline dips dramatically towards the rear, while newly designed rear doors and wings broaden its shoulders for a muscular stance.
Yet the design is only half of the story. Because underneath the coupé lines it has the same plug-in hybrid system as the Cayenne, including the flagship Turbo S E-Hybrid version which pairs a 4.0-litre, twin turbo V8 petrol engine with a 100kW electric motor.
That means maximum torque from the moment you ask for it, plus electric-only driving at speeds that could exceed 70mph, making it capable of tackling all sorts of everyday journeys on battery power alone.

Power, efficiency and complete comfort: the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid has it all. No ifs or buts, no half measures – just the ultimate in high-performance, low-emissions luxury.
There are several versions in the range, including the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid 10 Years Edition – an all-new addition celebrating a decade since the revolutionary Porsche four-door was first released – available in both standard and Sport Turismo versions, which comes with added luggage room for the long-haul.
With a petrol-electric power output of 462PS, room for four, all-wheel-drive and an electric-only range of up to 24 miles, it’s the ultimate all-rounder – whether you’re sat behind the wheel or relaxing in the back.
Then there’s the Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, which launches from a standstill to 62mph in only 3.4 seconds. With performance like that, you won’t be making compromises.
