This is a new Zenvo that marks the end of an old journey. It’s called the TSR-GT, built on the TS platform and limited to just three models worldwide. Of which all three have of course been sold.

It is also the last Zenvo to be produced on this platform before the company comes in with something shiny and new next year. More on that later, because there’s the small matter of a large rear wing to discuss.

That’s part of a new aerodynamic pack built to make this TSR a ‘low-drag’ version. The “elongated” rear spoiler sits atop a subtly redesigned body and “a new type of aero wheel disc” – all fashioned out of carbon fibre and made in Denmark – in order to help the TSR-GT hit a top speed of 263mph.

What also helps the TSR-GT hit a top speed of 263mph is the not-so-small matter of a 5.8-litre twin-supercharged flat-plane crank V8 featuring an upgraded inlet plenum and exhaust manifold. It’s also able to run on E85 fuel. Total power now sits at 1,360bhp, up from 1,177bhp of the ‘standard’ car. Yeah, ‘standard’.

There’s some leather onboard the cabin for this last hurrah GT as opposed to bare carbon fibre, along with noise-reducing leather-edged floor mats. Tells you everything about the focus of the car.

“A new era for Zenvo beckons, but before then we’ve created our interpretation of a GT variant of the TS platform,” Zenvo boss Jens Sverdup said. About that “new era” – TG.com spoke at length with Jens about the plans for the all-new, ground up hypercar that’ll arrive next year. Long story short – it’ll get a V12 able to rev to 10,000rpm, lightweight materials, and feature a brand new design aesthetic.
