The Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet is a two-seat roadster

This is the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet; an “ode to decadence” and “frivolity”. Not, as you might surmise, a two-and-a-half tonne method of dispatching a moody vampire.

It’s your first look at Rolls-Royce’s idea of a glamorous, decadent roadster, here pictured on the shore's of Italy's magnificent Lake Garda. The fitment of what the company calls ‘Aero Cowling’ transforms the four-seat Dawn into a really very large motor car with space for two lucky individuals.

The rear-seat cowls that raise the shoulder height of the Dawn are separated by a central ‘spine’ that runs into the cabin, itself treated to a ‘vapour-blasted titanium finish” with the Silver Bullet name and silhouette of the car etched onto it.

Rolls has a history with ‘Silver’, and thus the Dawn SB gets a metallic ‘Brewster Silver’ paint job, along with darker headlights, part polished wheels and of course, a magnificently appointed interior. Things like an open-pore, carbon fibre fascia and quilted transmission tunnel.

RR makes no mention of the motive force powering the Silver Bullet, so let’s assume the 563bhp 6.6-litre V12 remains; enough to propel it from 0-62mph in under five seconds and on to a limited top speed of 155mph. Speed and performance are not the central theme here of course, but 563bhp is really quite nice to have on tap.

Just 50 will be built, and it’ll most likely set you back a bit more than the ‘regular’ Dawn’s £282k starting price.
