Discover the watch collection crafted for adventure

You’ll find the perfect outdoor companion in Hamilton’s new Khaki Field Expedition range

From the moment Hamilton was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1892, the watchmaker has had an insatiable appetite for progress and innovation. So, it should come as no surprise the timepieces it’s created ever since have been destined for the wrists of true pioneers.

Its watches are woven throughout modern American history, from synchronising the first railroads to keeping time for aviators and soldiers – and to this day they reflect that rich pedigree. The successful Khaki Field watches, for instance, display all the American flair and refinement you’d anticipate, along with the Swiss precision you’d expect from a member of the Swatch family.

Time to explore

This is a watch you really can wear anywhere. Thanks to new functionalities and design features inspired by the best elements of the existing Khaki Field collection, the Khaki Field Expedition offers a refreshed look for adventure seekers. Available in either a 37mm or 41mm brushed stainless steel case, each component within the Khaki Field Expedition is perfectly balanced and proportioned to offer ultimate comfort on the wrist.

But first and foremost, it’s important to establish that yes, the Khaki Field Expedition will tell you the time – and it will do so very efficiently and clearly. The minimalist textured dial ensures the hand placements can be easily discerned, and thanks to the Super-LumiNova® coating, it displays just as well at night, whether you’re sleepily navigating your way to the bathroom in the dark or sat by a campfire as the embers crackle in the moonlight.

The smooth timekeeping, meanwhile, is enabled by the H-10 automatic movement, which comes complete with an 80-hour power reserve, and a Nivachron™ balance spring that helps minimise the effect of magnetism.

Set your course

There are four versions of the Khaki Field Expedition available for each case size, with a choice of either a leather or stainless-steel strap. The dials come in black, white or a blue that leans towards dark teal. It looks suitably sleek, yet it’s tough, too, thanks to the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating that protects the dial.

If you’re venturing out on the road, on a trail or even a mountain pass less travelled, the Khaki Field Expedition will help you to follow the right direction thanks to a bi-directional rotating compass bezel, which is marked with the cardinal points of north, south, east and west.

And if the call of the open water proves too strong, you’ll be glad to know the case also features a screw-down crown and 10 bar (100m) water resistance to help protect the movement no matter the weather.
